The project demanded designing the entire graphic language in order to create unique visibility. Calcalist highlights state of the art visual components, including imagery, video content and smart infographics, which caters to the specific needs of both readers and editors.

Being as experienced as we are with the most popular brands of content, we wanted PickMister to stand out from the crowd, while also remaining somewhat familiar. The entire graphic language is inspired by sports news sites, content brands and popular apps, and it creates a holistic environment for users.

This is one of the most complicated projects to land on our table. The site holds all relevant information for exports, but also functions as an online catalog of Israeli Innovation. It contains business information, guides and tips, calendars and special events, and a first look into thousands of Israeli companies.

האתגר האמיתי בנישה - הוא פיצוח נכון וממוקד של קהל היעד. אפליקציית Storeez מיועדת לילדים ולהורים כאחד, והקמפיין המתלווה אליה כל-כך חדשני, שפשוט אין למי להשוות אותו בשוק. יצרנו Flow פשוט ואפקטיבי לשימוש עבור ילדים, ועטפנו אותו בשפה עיצובית משחקית, אבל גם כזו שמדברת אליהם בגובה העיניים. The true challenge with this project had to do with correctly identifying our users. The Storeez app is designed for both kids and their parents, as it shares a connection between the digital and the physical worlds. We created a simple and effective flow and wrapped it up with an intelligent design.

באמצעות סורק QR, הילדים זוכים לחוויה דיגיטלית של עולם תוכן חדש ומשלים למוצר הפיזי - אוסף בובות. פיתחנו אפליקציות המיועדות לשוק הגלובלי, עבור אנדרואיד וגם עבור iOS. הטכנולוגיה שמאחורי הקלעים כבר כל-כך מוכרת, שגם עבור ההורים מדובר בחוויה של ממש. Using QR code the users get a digital experience of complementary content. We have developed the app with consideration of the global market, for both Android and iOS. The tech under it is so seamless that parents can enjoy this experience as well.

The Storeez app portrays the specific direction in which the entire marketing industry is headed: more engagement, triggered by loyalty campaigns and added value.

צריכת החדשות בעידן הדיגיטלי עברה מהפכה של ממש: לצד החשיבות הגדולה של דיווחים בזמן-אמת, בולטת גם הדרישה לתוכן מגוון, עדכני וחוצה מסכים ופלטפורמות. את התובנות המעמיקות של yit בעולמות המדיה והחדשות, המבוססות על שני עשורים של ניסיון, הבאנו אל פרויקט ערוץ 7. News consumption has transformed completely in the digital era: the importance of real-time updates, as well as relevant, cross-platform content - are standard demands nowadays. We took on this project knowing we have over 20 years of experience in creating tailor-made news and media products, designed for digital consumption. אפליקציית התוכן של ערוץ 7 מיועדת בראש ובראשונה למגזר הדתי-יהודי, אוכלוסייה בעלת מאפייני שימוש וצריכה ייחודיים. בין היתר, התמודדנו עם פרופיל קוראים שעושים שימוש בספקי אינטרנט מסוננים, מסתמכים על מערכת עדכונים מהירה במיוחד, ועדיין מבקשים לקבל כלים שהפכו לסטנדרט בעולם צריכת התוכן - כפתורי שיתוף, תכני וידאו ורכיבי תוכן ייעודיים. Channel 7’s news app is intended mainly for the Jewish and Orthodox readers in Israel and abroad. With that in mind we faced challenges such as usage of filtered internet and a demand for real-time Push notifications system. We added specific components for media, quick share buttons and a new layout where they all come together.

כלל שלבי הפיתוח של אפליקציית ערוץ 7 נעשו באמצעות yit, שמביאה לשולחן את המומחים המובילים בארץ למוצרי תוכן וחדשות. האפליקציה נבנתה לגמרי מחדש, עבור אנדרואיד וגם iOS, בעברית ובאנגלית, והיא עומדת כעת בשורה אחת עם אפליקציות החדשות המובילות. The entire development process took place at yit - as we hold the leading experts in digital news and content products. The app was rebuild from scratch for both Android and iOS, in Hebrew and in English, and is now in-line with all major news apps.

The embedding of commercial components into a Jewish-oriented news app is quite a challenge. Using yit’s connections and resources we brought major ad companies and recommendation tools into the Channel 7 improved app.

בשונה מאתרים אחרים, פלטפורמת הדקה ה-90 הינה מחסן עשיר בפני עצמו, המציע שורה רחבה של מוצרי תיירות – טיסות, מלונות, חבילות נופש ושירותים משלימים. האתגר המרכזי בתהליך העבודה עליו, הנו ביצירת ארכיטקטורה טכנית מורכבת המגולמת במערכות ניהול פנימיות, לצד שמירה על חזות אלגנטית, מאובטחת ופשוטה עבור המשתמשים. Unlike other platforms, Daka 90 is its own warehouse piled with tourism products – including flights, hotels, packaged deals and complementary services. The main challenge therefore was in designing and constructing a sophisticated architecture of internal systems, while keeping an elegant, secure and simple to use interface.
